Here comes summer.... Sort of!

Morning lovelies, well its my turn as host this week over at Mo's and my theme is 'Here comes Summer', unfortunately here in Scotland mother nature seems not to have got the memo telling her that we should be having lovely sunny weather and more importantly, stop raining!! I hope it improves soon, all this rain is getting me down!

So onto my card, it was quite hard to pick an image for this one cause Mo has loads of lovely summery images, so no excuses to not join in!

I have used a sweet image called Janie in July, I do hope my little girl will be doing this in July!

I hope you can join us, but before I go here is another little bit of info about our challenge next week, its all very exciting and a first for Mo's challenge.....

pink hair!....

No not me! lol, although I wish I had the courage!

Evening lovelies, bit late I know, but I finished colouring this cutie pie in a couple of hours ago and I decided that instead of adding her to my ever increasing pile of coloured images I wanted to make her into a card, or a tag to be exact.

I will just share my card and head off to bed as I am tired and my left eye is all swollen and puffy cause due to all the scratching I have been doing due to my hayfever I now have a stye on my upper eyelid! I am really not having much luck at the moment am I?

so here she is, my card, not the stye! lol

A dt card for two teams....

Afternoon lovelies, hope you are well and have been enjoying the glorious weather, well its been gorgeous here in scotland! For once!

The card I have today is for two dt, MDUC and Lovely Hanglar and sweet magnolia. I am busy behind the scenes making things for my upcoming craft fair, So I had to combine my card. Fairly easy though because our theme at MDUC is Make your own Flowers, and the theme at LH is shabby chic/vintage.

I have finally gotten round to using my spellbinders bitty blossom dies. I have had these like, forever and never used them, but wow are they so easy to use and so effective too, pleasantly surprised I was!

So here is my card, and I hope you can join in at either or both the challenges as there are gorgeous prizes on offer.

Have a good sunday xx

Thank you...

Morning lovelies, well I am back this week, sorry for the unexpected absence for the past week, I firstly have been suffering terribly with my allergies, and it got to the point last week I could barely even see, so no cardmaking for me. It has been better this week but it has flared up again since last night so I am sporting lovely bloodshot eyes again, and sneezing constantly. I swear my hayfever gets worse every year, must be something to do with getting older, eh?

I also came down with a nasty tummy bug that my two daughters decided it was only fair to share with me! So I spent the best part of the weeekend in bed too. So not a good week for me!

But I am here today with my new card for Mo's challenge, and this week our theme is 'Thank You' I have actually used the image that I had coloured in for last weeks challenge, and can you believe I forgot to take a picture with the tag out, cause thats where it says thank you! Oh dear, ooops!

So here is my card,
I hope you can join us this week.

Oh and before I go, heres a little hint of something very special coming very soon...

Move it Baby!

Evening lovelies, I hope its been nicer today where you are, its been wet all day but now the sun has come out so while its still chilly its very nice, I have been out on the roof terrace having a wee glass of wine!

But its now time for a new challenge over at MDUC, and boy did this have us all in tizzy this week! lol The theme is

 Move it Baby

and of course we ended up making it harder for ourselves than was necessary! well maybe I did lol sorry girls! hehehe

I went for using the swing in magnolia branch so I could have it 'swinging' I also made a tent card to make it easier for it to swing.

I had my tilda all picked out, I was planning on using celebration tilda but when the glitterpot had a free P&P offer on last weekend I ended up ordering the cute tilda with butterfly from the latest collection as I have been falling in love with her over the past few weeks, she is very sweet.

CAS at Mo's

Well morning lovelies! Now I don't know about you but I suffer from hayfever and boy has it started up with a vengance! My eyes are so itchy and I cant stop sneezing, I have been taking piriton because I cant take anti histamines, they make me very ill. Unfortunately the piriton only helps a little so I am feeling very sorry for myself right now!

Well its Thursday again so its time for a new challenge over at Mo's and this week our host is Anja and her chosen theme is Clean and simple. Now you know me, CAS is soooo not my thing so this was a huge challenge for me, I had to sit on my hands and had a few tears cause I was not a happy bunny but anyway I got there in the end and this is what I came up with....

So, what do you think? Did I manage it? I hope so :-)

A special project...

Well hello my lovelies, I have a special project to share with you today. This has been in the making for about a month now and I am so happy to have finished it! yayy!!

A little while ago I saw that Angie from Little Darlings had set a fabulous competition on the little Darlings Inspiration blog and wow! the prize is amazing so i just had to have a go, and as I had just bought a Tim Holtz printer tray, I thought it was the perfect thing to do. So in between dt work I have been working away at this, and completely enjoying myself to boot!
I have used Little darlings/saturated canary stamps and the little darlings sentiment stamps which are fab!!

So here it is, sorry it is very picture heavy, so get comfy!!
